Kacper Cyckowski

I'm currently a third-year Graphic Design student at UWE Bristol. My interest in design started during my Art and Design course in college. To expand my skills, I did a Foundation course at Wiltshire College in Trowbridge, where I explored visual communication.

During my time at university, I've focused on creating different types of designs, like publications and posters. I've always had a passion for working with type and print. I had studied this module within my Second Year and have pushed myself heavily towards Editorial Design. Each project I've worked on has helped me grow as a designer, from experimenting with typography to learning about printing techniques.

I'm proud of the work I've created so far. I'm excited to keep learning and improving as I continue my journey in Graphic Design. After university I hope to go into the Editorial Design industry, pushing my skillset further and learning new ones along the way.

Re:Build

Re:Build Poster Design
In a workshop led by Yasseen Failk, myself along with designers Katie Small and Harriet Edwards formed a group of three. Together, we collaborated on creating a poster focused on the Syrian earthquake.

Our objective was to integrate one image, one texture, and provided text into the design.
Opting for a distinctive approach, we created a poster using a variety of colours. However, our piece doesn't feature a clear sense of hierarchy, this makes our piece unique as you are still
drawn to looking at the different elements in
a certain order.
